Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how FansCue collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our Android application. By using FansCue, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Who We Are

FansCue is a sports fan engagement platform developed and operated by FansCue (India). We provide live sports news, league fixtures, match groups, and community interaction features for sports fans.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only the minimum information necessary to provide FansCue's features.

2.1 Information from Google Sign-In

When you sign in with Google, we receive the following from your Google account:

  • ·Display name (your Google account name)
  • ·Profile photo URL
  • ·Google account email address (used as your unique identifier — not displayed publicly)

We do NOT collect your Google password, phone number, payment info, or any other Google account data beyond the above.

2.2 Usage & Activity Data

We collect data about how you use FansCue to improve the experience:

  • ·Sports you follow and leagues you view
  • ·Matches and fixtures you browse
  • ·Groups you join or interact with
  • ·Features you use within the app

2.3 Group Chat Messages

FansCue includes group chat functionality tied to sports matches and leagues. Messages you send in these groups are stored on our servers to enable real-time communication between fans.

Do not share sensitive personal information (passwords, financial data, ID numbers) in group chats. Chats are visible to other group members.

2.4 Device Information & Crash Logs (Firebase)

We use Google Firebase to maintain app stability. Firebase automatically collects:

  • ·Device model and Android version
  • ·App version and session duration
  • ·Crash reports and error logs
  • ·General app performance metrics

This data is processed by Google under their own privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy).

2.5 Push Notification Token

When you allow notifications, we store a device push token to send you sports alerts, match updates, and group activity notifications. This token is tied to your device, not your identity.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • ·Creating and managing your FansCue account
  • ·Displaying your name and photo in group chats and leagues
  • ·Enabling group communication between sports fans
  • ·Sending push notifications about matches, leagues, and groups you follow
  • ·Personalising your sports feed based on your activity
  • ·Maintaining app stability and fixing bugs via Firebase crash reports
  • ·Improving app features based on aggregated usage patterns

We do NOT use your data for advertising, profiling for third-party marketing, or sell your data to any third party.

4. How We Share Your Information

FansCue does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only in the following limited circumstances:

4.1 Other FansCue Users

Your display name and profile photo are visible to other users in group chats and leagues you join. Your email address is never shown to other users.

4.2 Google (Firebase & Sign-In)

We use Google Firebase for authentication, crash analytics, and push notifications. Google processes this data under their Privacy Policy. Firebase services used: Firebase Authentication, Firebase Crashlytics, Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM).

4.3 Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required by Indian law, court order, or government authority, or to protect the safety and rights of our users.

5. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secure servers. We implement industry-standard security practices including:

  • ·HTTPS/TLS encryption for all data transmission between the app and our servers
  • ·Secure storage of authentication tokens
  • ·Access controls limiting who on our team can access user data

As FansCue is registered in India, your data is primarily stored and processed in India and may be processed by Google's Firebase infrastructure in accordance with their data residency policies.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Specifically:

  • ·Account data (name, photo): Retained until you delete your account
  • ·Group chat messages: Retained for the duration of the match/league group
  • ·Usage activity: Retained for up to 12 months in identifiable form
  • ·Crash logs (Firebase): Retained for 90 days by Google Firebase
  • ·Push notification token: Deleted when you uninstall the app or revoke notification permission

7. Your Rights & Choices

7.1 Access & Correction

You can view and update your display name and profile photo by updating your Google account. Profile changes sync automatically.

7.2 Delete Your Account

You can request deletion of your FansCue account and all associated data by emailing us at ceo@fanscue.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request". We will process your request within 30 days. Alternatively, an in-app account deletion option is available in Settings.

7.3 Notification Preferences

You can disable push notifications at any time through your Android device settings (Settings > Apps > FansCue > Notifications).

7.4 Revoke Google Sign-In

You can revoke FansCue's access to your Google account at any time via myaccount.google.com > Security > Third-party apps. This will sign you out of FansCue.

8. Children's Privacy

FansCue is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at ceo@fanscue.com and we will delete it promptly.

9. Third-Party Services

FansCue uses the following third-party services. Each operates under their own privacy policy:

  • ·Google Sign-In — policies.google.com/privacy
  • ·Firebase Authentication — firebase.google.com/support/privacy
  • ·Firebase Crashlytics — firebase.google.com/support/privacy
  • ·Firebase Cloud Messaging — firebase.google.com/support/privacy

We do not integrate any advertising SDKs, analytics beyond Firebase, or social media tracking tools at this time.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as FansCue grows and new features are added. When we make material changes, we will notify you via a push notification or an in-app notice. The updated policy will always be accessible within the app. Continued use of FansCue after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
